A full week of Digest Diet!

Wanna know how I feel about the Digest Diet after a week of it?

I feel like SUPERWOMAN!

I have to be truthful, I was TIRED of Smoothies at the end of the 4th day.  I was ready to eat some real food and move onto the next phase.  When I weighted in on the morning of Day 5, I was doing the “shake my booty” dance, but it was a shake my LESS of a booty dance.   And since my official weigh in day is Sunday, here is my weigh-in!

That’s a 7 pound weight loss this week! YUP!  7 POUNDSCan I get a WOOT WOOT!?

I’m looking forward to this weeks plan – lots of great, healthy foods, just the kinds of food I love.  Creamy Quinoa is a new favorite in my house for breakfast! Did I mention I am SUPPOSED to have a glass of red wine every night?  Oh, yeah, there is THAT!

Honestly, now that I am at the “fade away” phase, I am finding it pretty easy to follow. The exercise parts haven’t been too easy for me as I have a cold, but I am looking forward to feeling better and KICKING butt!

  2. Interesting post! I have got to try the quinoa stuff, I keep hearing great things about it and I am pretty sure it’s primal, which is my diet lifestyle of choice. I know it has no carbs. Ah, but that’s about me, not about you. You are doing amazing! Congratulations on the seven pounds – that’s SO much in one week! Good luck keeping it up all the way to your goal!! :)

    • I can so relate! I was all exitced that I finally lost another pound. 14 in total. Until I realized that I had hoped to lose 50 by now. And that I still have 86 to go. And that I don’t look any different. Poop. I’m getting back on myfitnesspal (I’m wendypchef if you join and want to be friends).As for McD’s I’ve found the egg mcmuffin and fruit & yogurt parfait don’t put me *too* far in the hole calorie-wise.

  4. Congratulations on your loss! That is some tough stuff girl but you are sticking to it and that’s what it takes, focus and dedication. Great job this week. I’m back on the Paleo challenge. I fell of the wagon over the weekend but I’m on it again today. I have to eat right or all this exercise is for nothing!

  8. Great job! I love hearing when people find the thing that works for them. There are so many different takes on being healthy in Mamavation and we each need to find what we can live with and stick to… still looking for my shrinking nirvana. :)

  10. I would LOVE to hear about the Creamy Quinoa. I keep trying but haven’t found the love for the stuff yet.
